Otafuku Okonomi Sauce 300g

In Japan, Otafuku Okonomi Sauce is the sauce for okonomiyaki and takoyaki at home. For the Japanese, okonomiyaki without Otafuku Okonomi Sauce is unthinkable. This brown sauce is perfect for pouring over all types of savoury pancakes and fried meat dishes such as Okonomiyaki and Takoyaki. Like a sweet/savoury, thick, rich Worcestershire sauce.

How to use

1. Mix flour with water in a medium-size bowl.

2. Put eggs, meat and vegetables in the batter and mix them.

3. Heat a frying pan over medium heat and add some oil.

4. Pour the batter on the pan and spread it in a circle (about 6" across and 1/2' thick). *1"=2.5cm.

5. Cook both sides until it turns golden brown (about 5min each side).

6. Dish up the Okonomiyaki on a plate and put Otafuku Okonomiyaki Sauce Kokusai on top.

* Add some Japanese Mayonnaise, Dried Laver/Nori and Bonito Flakes on top as you like.
